Salary (DOE)
Join The Despatch Company
The Despatch Company is a fast-growing technology organisation providing advanced logistics, fulfilment and eCommerce software used by retailers and carriers worldwide. Our products manage millions of shipments annually, powering mission-critical integrations and automated workflows for global clients operating at scale.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated, detail-driven marketer to join the team at The Despatch Company. This is a broad role with real variety: you will work across content, social media, email campaigns, paid media, and brand support for our portfolio of products, which includes Helm WMS, Voila, and Neuro.
You will report directly to the Senior Marketing Lead and play an active part in shaping how our brands show up in the world. The role is fully remote, with regular check-ins and strong support from your line manager. You will need to be someone who takes ownership of your work and keeps things moving without being chased.
We are open to candidates at any stage of their marketing career. The title will reflect your experience, and the role is designed to give you real room to progress and develop your skills over time.
This is a team effort. You will not be expected to tackle everything on your own. You will work closely with your line manager and have the support of our design team across tasks, with regular catch-ups to keep you on track and help you grow into the role.
What you will be doing
- Writing and editing content across the portfolio, including blog posts, social copy, and website pages, each adapted to distinct brand voices and guidelines.
- Building, scheduling, and reporting on email campaigns, including nurture sequences, product updates, and event comms.
- Scheduling and publishing social media content across LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Supporting paid media activity, including copy, assets, and performance monitoring.
- Assisting with brand and design tasks, working closely with the design team to produce on-brand materials.
- Supporting events activity, including producing marketing assets, assisting with stand design, and providing social coverage.
- Supporting SEO efforts, including content updates, keyword research, and basic on-page optimisation.
- Keeping content, campaign assets, and CRM records organised and up to date.
About you
- You have exceptional attention to detail and notice things others miss, whether in copy, data, or processes.
- You are a confident writer who can adapt tone and voice across multiple brands without defaulting to one style.
- You take brand guidelines seriously and apply them consistently, every time.
- You are highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload without being micromanaged.
- You thrive working remotely and know how to stay on top of priorities, communicate proactively, and flag blockers early.
- You are ambitious and looking for a role where you can build your skills over time, not just tick off a task list.
- You pick up new tools quickly and are comfortable learning platforms on the job.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, to a professional standard.
Key priorities
- Writing quality: Able to write clearly and persuasively for B2B SaaS audiences across multiple brand voices.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous about consistency in copy, formatting, and brand standards.
- Self-management: Comfortable owning tasks end-to-end in a remote, small-team environment.
Would really stand out
- Technical SEO: Confident with GTM and GA4, and able to write structured schema markup for standalone pages and CMS templates, going beyond basic on-page work.
- Video editing: Ability to edit short-form video in-house would add real value. We currently work with external teams for this.
Nice to have
- HubSpot: Prior experience using HubSpot for email, CRM, or marketing automation.
- Email marketing: Familiar with email best practices, segmentation, and basic performance metrics.
- Figma / Framer: Familiarity with design or web tools.
- Jira: Experience with project management tools. Not essential and easily picked up.
- Sector knowledge: Familiarity with eCommerce, logistics, or fulfilment.
- Turkish language: We are an international team and Turkish language skills would be a welcome addition, though not required.
