Role Overview: Middle KYC Specialist
As a Middle KYC Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring thorough, compliant customer verification, supporting risk assessment activities, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will play a key role within the Compliance function, supporting onboarding, AML/CFT tasks, and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
KYC / KYB Operations
- Conduct thorough background checks and verify customer information in line with legal requirements.
- Support the onboarding process by completing all required KYC/KYB checks and collecting relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all KYB/KYC activities and verification documents.
Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Identify and assess risks associated with client relationships.
- Escalate suspicious cases to the KYC Team Lead.
- Ensure all activities comply with KYC regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Assist in preparing and submitting reports on KYC/KYB findings for senior management review.
- Serve as a backup specialist for various AML/CFT and compliance-related daily tasks.
Regulatory Awareness & Data Security
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive client information in accordance with GDPR and other data protection standards.

Requirements (Placed Last as Requested)
Mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience
- Fluent English
- Solid understanding of KYC and CDD concepts & frameworks
- Practical experience working within a KYC environment
- Effective communication
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Day-to-day team supervision experience
Desirable
CKYCA or ICA Certificate in KYC and CDD
