Independence Support Ltd (ISL) provides high-quality supported living services in Bolton, Lancashire, supporting adults with complex mental health needs to live independently, confidently and safely within their own homes.
Our Bolton service supports 15 individuals in self-contained apartments equipped with modern assistive technology, creating a safe and supportive environment where people can build life skills, develop confidence and achieve greater independence.
We’re looking for compassionate, reliable and proactive Support Workers who are passionate about helping others achieve their goals. Whether you’re experienced in care or looking to start a rewarding career, we believe your values are just as important as your experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with medication management
- Teaching and encouraging daily living skills
- Assisting with household tasks and daily routines
- Supporting community access and meaningful activities
- Providing emotional support
- Supporting individuals to manage and maintain their tenancy
- Working alongside healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes
Who We’re Looking For
We’re recruiting Part-Time (23.5 hours) Support Workers.
- You’ll work flexibly across day and night shifts on a 7-day rota to meet the needs of the people we support.
- Experience in supported living, mental health or social care is desirable but not essential. We provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training, so we’re looking for people with compassion, resilience and a genuine commitment to helping others.
