Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This role requires a solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and negotiation skills to optimize costs and efficiency. The Procurement Specialist will play a vital part in supporting our organization’s operational excellence through effective procurement strategies and utilisation of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS.

Strategic Sourcing Buying

Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business

savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.

Seek cost improvements in purchased products.

Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

Support contracts’ implementations

Lead, negotiate and execute all sourcing activities in every phase of the product life cycle.

Supplier Management

Manage supplier relationships including quality and supply issues, improving supplier performance, and building successful Supply chain partnerships.

Collaborate with Finance to ensure supplier POT (Payment on Time)Supplier OTIF (On Time in Full) percentage

Supplier SNCR (Supplier Non-Conformance Reports) for material quality tracking

Contribute to short- and long-term service and quality improvement projects together with suppliers.

Handling REACH Documents to be provided in full from Supplier.

Purchasing Operations, Planning & Execution

Participate in meetings with planners, technical, quality and development teams to share updated information, cultural and professional experiences, provide standard information and know-how and process improvement among all the organizational stakeholders with relations with the procurement department

.Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets

Main point of Escalation with the supplier for all internal requests

Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Review the quality of purchased products.

Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
