Job Summary

The Remote LTC Lead Data Entry Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing data entry operations within the Long-Term Care (LTC) division. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant data processing, while providing leadership, training, and quality oversight to a remote team of data entry specialists. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and experience working with healthcare or insurance-related data systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and monitor day-to-day LTC data entry operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enter, verify, and maintain sensitive LTC data in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Review and validate data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to data entry staff.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze daily/weekly reports on data entry metrics, identifying trends or issues.
  • Communicate regularly with internal departments (billing, claims, compliance, etc.) to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage workload assignments and prioritize tasks based on business needs and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies or system issues in collaboration with IT and management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all LTC client and facility information.

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • 3+ years of data entry or administrative experience, preferably in Long-Term Care, healthcare, or insurance.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired
