Job Overview

The Health Research Authority (HRA) is a Non-Departmental Public Body that protects and promotes the interests of patients and the public in health and social care research. We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Executive Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Approvals Service Directorate, including diary management, meeting coordination, and report preparation. You will work closely with senior managers, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of the directorate.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-calibre administrative support to the Director, Deputy Director, and senior management team. This includes:

  • Managing diaries and coordinating meetings
  • Preparing reports and papers
  • Providing secretariat support to internal and external meetings
  • Liaising with stakeholders and external partners
  • Organising events and travel arrangements
  • Supporting recruitment processes

Person Specification
  • Degree or portfolio of evidence demonstrating ability to work at this level
