Full job description

SouthEnd Psychiatry, a leader in mental health services, is looking for a Customer Service Support specialist to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent service and support. This role offers a mix of office and remote work, so you can balance your personal and professional life.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions via phone, email, and live chat
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently
  • Document customer interactions in our database
  • Keep up-to-date with our services and policies
  • Work with other teams to resolve customer issues
  • Educate customers on our services and products
  • Handle customer complaints with patience and empathy
  • Manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Suggest ways to improve customer service and productivity
  • Attend training sessions to update your skills and knowledge

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in customer service management a plus
  • Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills with active listening and clear articulation
  • Ability to manage stress and adapt to rapid change
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with decision-making ability
  • Confidence in using office software suites (MS Office, Google Suite) and customer service management software
  • Detail-oriented with a professional attitude towards customer care
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, accommodating various time zones as required
  • Empathy and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor when addressing customer needs or complaints
  • Must be a U.S/Canada citizen
