The Role
- As a Customer Care Representative, you’ll be the face of EQ Bank, delivering top-notch service to our prospective customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying customer banking needs and providing accurate information on our products and services
- Handling inbound calls and chats, ensuring best-in-class service standards
- Owning the digital-onboarding experience and resolving customer issues
- Communicating effectively with customers and promoting EQ Bank’s core values
- Executing controls to ensure regulatory compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement
Shifts
- Training Period: 5-6 weeks, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- After training, shifts will be 4-midnight EST, with 2 consecutive days off and occasional weekend work
Requirements
- 1-3 years of call center and/or customer service experience (on phone preferred)
- Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field (hospitality, finance, etc.)
- Previous banking experience is an asset
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with autonomy and self-direction, and proficiency in software like CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
