Job Summary

As a Live Chat Representative, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers reaching out to us via live chat. Your main responsibility will be to provide real-time, high-quality assistance to prospective buyers, sellers, renters, and other stakeholders. You will be expected to understand customer needs, resolve inquiries promptly, and help guide them through the real estate process. A key part of this role is maintaining a friendly, professional, and solution-oriented approach while ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive one.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, ensuring quick and accurate responses.
  • Assist prospective buyers and sellers with property details, availability, and general real estate questions.
  • Provide information about the home buying or renting process, including mortgages, property viewings, and documentation.
  • Help troubleshoot technical issues with property listings, website navigation, or forms on the website.
  • Document customer interactions and follow up as necessary to resolve outstanding issues or provide additional support.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling inquiries professionally and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure accurate and timely information is provided.
  • Maintain knowledge of current property listings, market trends, and company services to ensure up-to-date and relevant support.
  • Meet or exceed response and resolution time goals for all live chat interactions.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally within real estate, sales, or a similar industry.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple live chats simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
  • Familiarity with live chat software and customer service platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of real estate terminology and processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking skills.
  • A positive attitude with a passion for helping people.
