Part-Time Customer Support Representative (3 Month Contract)

Shakepay is seeking a part-time Customer Support Representative to join their remote team in Canada. As a key member of the support team, you’ll create a seamless experience for Shakepay’s customers, providing expert support and guidance on Shakepay’s products and services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues with Shakepay
  • Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with customers
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve customer inquiries
  • Assist with KYC (account verification) requests and document review
  • Provide support via chat and email
  • Identify and escalate unusual account activity to fraud or compliance teams

 

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in customer support
  • Adaptability to change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English required

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in other operational roles
  • Bilingual (advantage)
  • lBasic knowledge of digital currencies

 

Schedule

  • Minimum 10 hours/week, with potential for up to 20 hours/week in the first 4-6 weeks
  • Shifts may include evenings and late nights (up to 12:00am EST)
