Part-Time Customer Support Representative (3 Month Contract)
Shakepay is seeking a part-time Customer Support Representative to join their remote team in Canada. As a key member of the support team, you’ll create a seamless experience for Shakepay’s customers, providing expert support and guidance on Shakepay’s products and services.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve customer issues with Shakepay
- Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with customers
- Collaborate with team members to resolve customer inquiries
- Assist with KYC (account verification) requests and document review
- Provide support via chat and email
- Identify and escalate unusual account activity to fraud or compliance teams
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in customer support
- Adaptability to change
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English required
Nice to Have
- Experience in other operational roles
- Bilingual (advantage)
- lBasic knowledge of digital currencies
Schedule
- Minimum 10 hours/week, with potential for up to 20 hours/week in the first 4-6 weeks
- Shifts may include evenings and late nights (up to 12:00am EST)
