Recap Writer Needed (For People Who Actually Pay Attention to Shows)

Do you catch every small detail when watching TV shows — the quiet glances, the hidden meaning in dialogue, the tiny moment that leads to big drama later? Tvshowsaddict in Nigeria is looking for a Recap Writer who actually pays attention. This isn’t about quick summaries or bullet points. They want detailed recaps that explain everything that happened, using real conversations to show why characters act the way they do. If a character feels guilty and punishes themselves, you’ll notice it and explain it naturally. If a small scene early in the episode sets up a major twist later, you’ll connect the dots. Write in your own natural voice with flowing sentences, not robotic phrases or “tension in the air” lines. If you love turning observations into a great story, this full-time remote role paying ₦50,000 a month is for you.

Full job description

I am looking for a writer who doesn’t just watch a show but actually understands it. I don’t want a brief, surface-level summary or a list of bullet points. I need a detailed recap that explains everything that happened by paying attention to the small details and the dialogue.

You should be able to listen to what the characters are saying and use those conversations to explain their actions. For example, if a character is feeling guilty about a fight and decides to punish themselves, I want you to recognize that emotion and include it in your writing.

This doesn’t mean using overly dramatic or AI-style phrases like tension in the air. I need someone who can connect the dots. If something small earlier in the episode leads to a bigger moment later, you should be able to pick up on that and include it naturally in the recap.

Write in your own natural voice using complete, flowing sentences. No bullet points and no robotic English.

If you are the type of person who catches the things everyone else misses and can turn those observations into a great story, this is a good fit for you.
