Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective management and coaching
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with organisational goals
- Manage key client accounts, build long-term relationships, and identify new business opportunities
- Oversee merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and maximise sales potential
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Supervise daily sales operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette and professional communication with clients and internal teams
- Organise promotional activities and events to enhance brand visibility
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and reports for senior management review
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that drive customer engagement
Skills
- Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams within retail or sales environments
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop staff members
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative tasks
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail
