Job Summary
We’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist to support our brand’s growth in global and APAC markets. This role will focus on developing culturally relevant content strategies, engaging diverse online communities, and expanding our presence across emerging digital platforms. The ideal candidate understands cross-cultural storytelling and has experience engaging international and lifestyle-focused audiences.
Duties
- Develop and implement localized social media strategies tailored to international and APAC audiences.
- Create engaging multilingual content (Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus) across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), and other emerging channels.
- Identify trends within lifestyle, fashion, education, or female-focused communities to drive targeted engagement initiatives.
- Monitor regional market insights and audience behavior to refine content positioning.
- Collaborate with influencers and creators in key growth markets to enhance brand visibility.
Skills
- Experience managing social media accounts targeting APAC or international markets.
- Strong understanding of lifestyle, fashion, beauty, education, or women-oriented consumer segments.
- Familiarity with platforms popular in Asian markets such as Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat, or Douyin is a plus.
- Experience building engaged online communities within niche or culturally specific audiences.
- Ability to create culturally relevant and visually appealing content.
- Mandarin language proficiency (reading/writing) is highly desirable.
