Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Programme Manager to lead on a diverse range of programmes across CTMUHB which underpin the organisations strategic objectives.

Working within the Transformation Team the Programme Manager will lead the implementation and delivery of a number of high-profile programmes and workstreams. The initial focus for the postholder will be to support regional planning for diagnostics. The current governance arrangements for the regional diagnostics programmes of work are attached separately.

Main duties of the job

The Programme Manager will lead and manage a range of strategic programmes and projects, ensuring that a recognised programme management approach is built into all aspects of the work.

Co-ordinate and deliver the workstreams within the Programme maintaining a planning framework with supporting processes for both long and short term programme objectives.

Work with senior managers and teams to identify opportunities for continual service improvement by utilising programme and project management methodologies.

Essential

  • Educated to master’s degree level or equivalent experience
  • Project and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Evidence of continued professional development

  • Experience of management and managing successful projects at a senior level
  • Significant experience of successfully delivering change projects in complex and challenging programme environments
  • Experience of effective stakeholder working with external bodies

  • Experience of working within the NHS
