Full job description
Digitech is seeking a Verifying Representative with Medical Billing knowledge to research patient and insurance records, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information prior to coding claims. This is a 100% remote opportunity with Digitech, a leading provider of advanced billing and technology services to the EMS transport industry.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process patient care reports (PCRs) for assigned clients in a timely manner
- Gather and verify insurance information, patient name, date of birth, and address
- Ensure all necessary information is received and recorded prior to coding claims
- Perform other assigned duties as requested by Department Manager
Requirements
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Good grammar and computer literacy (work with two monitors)
- Pleasant and professional demeanor
- Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
