Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organised Sales Support Assistant to help manage and progress our sales pipeline.

This is a freelance / self-employed role for approximately 5 hours per week, supporting the Managing Director of a growing digital agency. The role is fully remote and offers flexibility around when the work is completed, although availability during UK business hours is essential.

The primary focus of the role is to ensure potential clients who have received proposals or sales communications are followed up professionally and promptly, helping to keep opportunities moving and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

You will be responsible for following up with prospects , gathering feedback, arranging follow-up calls where appropriate, and keeping our CRM up to date with the latest activity.

This role is not a direct sales position, but rather a support role that ensures our sales process runs smoothly and opportunities are handled professionally and consistently.

The role would suit someone who is personable, polite, organised, proactive and comfortable communicating with businesses of all sizes.

We are ideally looking for someone operating as a virtual assistant, freelancer or contractor who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their responsibilities.

This position is expected to start at 5 hours per week, with the potential to increase over time if the relationship works well & results are demonstrated.

 

Responsibilities

Conduct follow-up communications with clients who are in our sales pipeline, primarily who have received proposals/quotes to gather feedback and answer any questions.

Overall sales pipeline management via our CRM (HubSpot), consistently moving prospects along the pipeline

Schedule follow-up meetings with the Managing Director to discuss client objections or next steps.

Maintain and update the CRM with the status of each lead and follow-up activity.

Ensure all client interactions are professional and timely, enhancing the client experience.

 

Requirements

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Confident, personable individual who enjoys speaking to prospects, offering our services and nurturing to engage

Experience with CRM software (HubSpot) is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Familiarity with digital marketing or agency environments is beneficial but not required.

Familiarity with SME challenges and how digital marketing helps them grow.
