Job Summary

CareMetx is looking for a Customer Support/Data Entry Remote Worker to join our team. As a Customer Support Coordinator (CSC) / Intake Coordinator (IC), you’ll handle customer service inquiries, review referrals, and enter data into our database system. You’ll work with patients, prescribers, insurance companies, and internal partners to resolve issues and provide support.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer service inquiries via phone
  • Research and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Create and edit patient records in the database system
  • Make outbound calls to patients and prescribers to collect information or explain benefits
  • Attach incoming fax images to patient records
  • Identify and escalate concerns to ensure corrective action
  • Generate letters and brochures for patients, prescribers, or partners
  • Document interactions and outcomes in the database system
  • Adhere to quality, production, and turnaround standards

 

Experience and Educational Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center environment (Specialty Pharmacy, PBM, Commercial Insurance, or Patient Assistance Programs preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

 

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with good analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-call-volume environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
  • General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Regularly required to sit
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment
