Job Description
The Retail Data Entry Technician is responsible for supporting Louisiana dispensaries through accurate and efficient creation and maintenance of patient profiles. This position ensures data integrity, seamless patient onboarding, and compliance with medical cannabis regulations, while adhering to company policies and utilizing multiple software systems effectively. This opening is a HYBRID role and will be supporting onsite in our New Orleans stores, and will have the ability to also work from home in a hybrid capacity.
Accurately enter and maintain patient information in our retail systems, ensuring compliance with Louisiana regulations.
Create and update patient profiles in Dutchie, METRC, and Updox, ensuring all required documentation is properly recorded.
Verify patient recommendations and contact patients to confirm receipt and next steps.
Collaborate with dispensary teams to resolve any data discrepancies or incomplete patient records.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.
Communicate professionally with patients via phone or email to confirm recommendation details.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with all state and company regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter data with minimal errors.
Ability to work independently in a computer-heavy role.
Stable and reliable internet connection if working remotely.
Familiarity with Updox, Dutchie, and METRC preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle patient inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
Experience in a healthcare, cannabis, or retail setting is a plus.
